I suspect most will say escaped HTML.

Each clarification we make is unfortunately going to be interpreted as
a change by someone. The difference between clarification and change
is entirely perceptual. And there's enough people that are looking for
us to fail (this is syndication right?), that suggestions we are
changing RSS will undoubtedly grow in time.
