Introduction

Hi everyone,

I just recently ordered a copy of RTR from Amazon.com and saw the
discussion group there that mentioned this site, so I thought I'd
join you guys.

For my background, I've got a bachelors in economics and a masters
in finance. The highest level math course I've taken is ordinary
differential equations, and hopefully I haven't forgotten too much
of it (that was over 10 years ago). I've always been interested in
math and cosmology, and this book sounds like a good challenge.

I just recently finished Smolin's Three Roads to Quantum Gravity,
which I enjoyed, but I'd like to get into something more technical,
which is why I ordered RTR.

I look forward to talking with the rest of you.

Regards,
Jim
