Research Fellow

The School of Tourism and Hospitality Management has established a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship to support excellence in research in the Australian Regional Tourism Research Centre. The position is available on a fixed-term basis from 1 September 2008, with prospects of renewal linked to research commitment and performance. The successful candidate will be based at the Lismore campus.
The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will have a strong research background in one or more of the following areas: regional tourism; rural tourism and recreation; tourism planning; tourism public policy; ecotourism and nature-based tourism; tourism economics. The successful applicant must have a PhD awarded no earlier than 1 January 2006. Start up research funding is available. A candidate who negotiates a reduced fractional appointment, will be given the opportunity to contribute to the School’s teaching programs.
