The Department of Management is seeking to make up to two appointments in
Marketing to make a significant contribution to research, teaching and
supervision.

The Department of Management is seeking to make up to two appointments in
Marketing to make a significant contribution to research, teaching and
supervision. The Marketing group, a strong supportive team within the Department
of Management, seeks to appoint staff with teaching interests in the areas of
consumer behaviour, principles of marketing, strategy and international
marketing, although opportunities for successful candidates to develop their own
areas of teaching interests will be provided. The Marketing group has an
interest in the area of sustainable consumption and candidates who can
contribute to the further development of this research theme are encouraged to
apply.
Applicants must indicate at which level(s) of appointment they wish to be
considered. As there are up to two positions available the University will not

Relevant teaching experience is expected and you may be required to teach at
both under graduate and postgraduate levels. You will be required to provide
supervision of higher degree research and honours theses. Opportunities will
also be available to engage in MBA project supervision. The Department and
College are currently in the process of developing new graduate level
qualifications. Completion or near completion of a PhD in a relevant area is
required at the level of Lecturer and a completed PhD is essential for the
position of Senior Lecturer. Candidates with demonstrated relevant experience in
industry and/or not for profit organisations, in addition to teaching and
research experience are also encouraged to apply. A strong commitment to
