Ruby on Rails Consultant, Los Angeles, CA | 50-65/hour

My client is looking for a developer to build a custom web application
prototype. The expectation is that the prototype will be a jumping off
point (i.e. reusable) for a full-blown implementation. The application
will be modular, with scheduling, repository, and billing
functionality. The prototype will only include the scheduling part
with placeholders for the subsequent modules.

This is an opportunity for someone to be involved with a start-up from
the ground up. The potential is large.

They are seeking someone who has some decent RoR experience under
their belt and your resume should convey it. They need someone who is
ready to hit the ground running. This is not meant to be a learning
opportunity; they need an expert.

The programmer needs to be located in Los Angeles or the surrounding
areas as far north as Ventura/Oxnard or as far south as San Diego
would be ok.

This job will be paid hourly with a retainer up front.
