My Nashville, TN client is a full-service provider of custom web
software, web design, and digital marketing services with clients
worldwide. We pride ourselves on delivering great customer service and
high-quality technical solutions.

They are seeking an experienced web developer proficient in any (or
all) of these languages: PHP, Ruby on Rails, Perl.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Architect web applications with PHP, Ruby-on-Rails, or Perl
* Learn and utilize frameworks to develop apps under an MVC architecture
* Conduct troubleshooting techniques to resolve app and database failures
* Work in a team environment to build large-scale web applications
* Master advanced technologies such as AJAX, and CSS 2.0

REQUIREMENTS:
* Prior experience as an Object-Oriented software developer
* 3+ years experience developing in HTML and JavaScript
* 3+ years experience with MySQL or MSSQL
* Apache HTTP server configuration and installation experience
* 3+ years experience with using a Code Versioning Repository (CVS, etc)
* Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
* Excellent documentation, communication and organizational skills

ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Experience with AJAX, SOAP, Java, JavaScript, CSS, XML & XHTML
* UNIX/NT System administration, configuration, and installation
* Creative skills (including graphic or web design)
* Experience with PHP Framework: Symfony
* Content Management System development experience a plus

COMPENSATION:
* Salary is competitive and dependent on experience in the 40-60k range
* Relocation Stipend up to $3000
