Description

You will be responsible for implementing the ongoing development of
the company's website and servers and for performing day-to-day site
maintenance on the web sites, ensuring navigation and browser
compatibility, quality-control, SEO, email campaign management,
delivering visitor traffic reports and managing advertising servers
and reports. You will interface daily with the CMS content management
and podcast production system built in Ruby-On-Rails.

Must be a self-starter capable of managing yourself and working
efficiently with a distributed team. A hunger for learning new systems
and technologies will be rewarded. Strong programming and problem
solving skills with the ability to handle multiple project deadlines
will allow you to love this job. The right candidate will demonstrate
effectiveness in a collaborative development environment and the
ability to communicate technical information to non-technical clients.

Required Skills

Comprehensive understanding of Ruby-on-Rails, HTML, Linux, Apache,
MySQL, PHP

Experience with email administration and domain management

Familiarity with administering Wordpress blogs and developing
Wordpress themes
Understanding of RSS feeds, FeedBurner
Familiarity with Photoshop and Illustrator
Ability to take existing graphical components and create ads a plus
Knowledge of Flash for banner ad creation a plus
Knowledge of ad serving software – such as ZEDO, Commission Junction,
Google AdSense, and Podbridge

Familiarity with and understanding of SEO techniques

Experience with email database management and email marketing tools–
such as SubscriberMail

Experience with Google Analytics

Training will be provided on the details and requirements of these tasks.

Location

This position is 100% telecommuting. Work from your home anywhere in
the world. You must have an acceptable computer, broadband connection,
and home-office or other suitable work environment.
