Johan there is an intermediate Version 2.5k804 is the latest I've got.
This is a non distribution version, but openly available if you know
where to look.

Up to now I'm glad with the normal editor, although using StrongEd and
having the S-Base mode from Robin Hampshire.
Just to lazy to change from the normal editor.
