Position Summary : Ruby on Rails developer who will be responsible for developing and maintaining both private (internal) and public (external) facing Rails-based web sites

Qualifications/Skills:

• Extensive experience developing Ruby and Rails applications.
• Must have proven experience developing complex software applications and scalable enterprise systems in Ruby and Rails.
• Ability to develop from functional requirements, use cases and architecture models created using UML and related technologies.
• Extensive knowledge of object-oriented development methodologies a must.
• Strong automated development unit testing background.
• Test Driven Development experience preferred.
• Strong relational database background using Oracle 10g RDBMS.

Other Skills/Job Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include:
• Develop Ruby on Rails web applications for customers, including system monitoring and system administration utilities for network administration of the applications.
• Debug, test, and install complex Rails based customer applications.
• Create test procedures and test platforms to support the development of solutions supplied Rails applications.
• Have strong working knowledge of modern software development techniques and methodologies. 

Minimum of five (5) years demonstrated overall experience developing and maintaining enterprise level web-based applications.  Demonstrated experience in ROR required.
