Welcome to the
San Antonio Astronomical Observers Group

The focus of this group is quite simple: To create various venue's for amateur astronomers who are interested only in observing! We hold several observing sessions during the month and meet on a monthly basis to discuss current astronomy events.

The San Antonio Astronomical Observers Group meets on the 4th Friday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at the I-hop on S.W. Military Drive in San Antonio, Texas. The public is welcome to attend!

We do not charge dues: membership is free.

  • Next Meeting: October 23 rd, I-Hop on S.W. Military Drive at 7 p.m. Bring your scopes! Observing session after meeting!(suggestion has been made for folks planning to attend to post message here)

Subject debates are allowed (and can be quite interesting) however, personal agendas as well as conflicts between members are not allowed! NO EXCEPTIONS

PLEASE NOTE: There are still attempts from some to gain access to this group for the purpose of promoting their own misguided agenda's. New membership requests from web based identities not traceable beyond 6 months WILL NOT BE APPROVED! For those of you that do not know what this is about, don't worry about it.
