Thanks so much for this response - now I know I'm not going mad and others are in a similar situation. I guess that's the real answer: wait for Apple to come up with a fix!

With regards to the problem you're having with Flash, it's all gobbledegook to me. It took many days of help from folk on this site to show me the way to do this and in the end I found a Flash ace who has created a straight forward flash programme to use.

But if you need any help, I think the Q&A are still somewhere on this archive from last year ( I hope)
