AT my company we are attempting to keep employees who have both time
entry and time approval roles from approving their own time entries.
In test client, we have modified the time approval role to have the
following P_PERNR object authorization settings: authorization level
W,S,D,E;interpretation of assignment user - personnel number E;
infotype 2001,2002; subtype "*". Once the userid is added to the
user's infotype 105, subtype 001 record, these settings seem to
prevent the employee from approving their own time entries. However,
these changes also prevent the user from entering their own time
entries into CATS (transaction CAT2), something which we would like
to keep.  Does anyone know how we can let a person enter their own
time, but not approve it?  Thanks.

Can anyone please explain me how to get work flow event activated?

I am trying to activate the work flow for appraisal process. I have the
templates available with me, and want to activate the work flow for the same.
Is that we need to group the final workflow template to some event to activate
it.

The work flow activation thru (Personal Management --> Personal administration
--> Tools -->Business workflow event -- > activate event linkage) is already
already set.
