----------------------
* Work continues on the Esperanto materials. Right now they are
about
25% finished.
* PDF Dictionary
The color scheme has been restored to improve readability.
Also,
etymological information is being added to the PDF dictionary.
I'm not sure
this will serve much purpose but to satisfy someone's curiosity
so I consider
this to be a low priority.
* Under consideration.
+ /j/ J -> Y : To accomodate the addition of /tS/ and /dZ/
(see
below.)
+ Adding C /tS/ and J /dZ/: For right now, I'm thinking of
adding these
letters but using them exclusively to better represent names
that use those
phonemes or similar sounding ones. It's possible that later on
these could
be used for Sasxsek vocabulary as well. I'm holding off on it
because I'd
like to keep the phoneme inventory as small as possible but
adding these
could make it easier to find recognizable words to add to the
lexicon.
+ Adding the ampersand (&) as a generic currency marker,
meaning
"local
currency unit" that is not specific to the currency of any
particular
country. I think using this symbol will avoid ambiguities that
could be
created by using something like $.
* A few more lexical changes.
des -> hot+ = want, desire
hat -> hen = dislike, hate
tep -> hat = warm, hot
(new) -> deb = owe; be indebted to
red -> prep(a) = ready -> prepare
ran -> zaud = (to) be early
pom -> masal = crush, smash, mash, squash
mel -> pom = apple
(new) -> mel = (to) be beautiful
jun -> let = allow; permit; let
+ = This may change again soon as it was mainly changed to free
up "des"
for "10".
* Statistics
Sasxsek dictionary: 3512 entries
English dictionary: 5048 entries
Esperanto dictionary: 2115 entries (* work in progress)
