Welcome to the new members to our group!

Headlines:

* The Babel Text has finally been completed. Check out the website
for information. Comments and questions are welcomed.

Vocabulary:
* 486 roots, derived from 134 languages.
See the Roots or Statistics pages on the website for details.

* SASXSEK-English dictionary: 1569 entries and growing.

* English-SASXSEK dictionary: 2199 entries and growing.

* CVCVCVC roots are now being introduced. This is causing some CVC
and CVCVC roots to be changed for better clarity and recognition.

Misc.:

* I am compiling and trying to organize information on sign languages
so that a signed version of may eventually be created. Help from
anyone who knows any sign language, or has information on various sign
languages is appreciated. ISL/Gestuno information is preferred, but
others are also helpful.

* Vocabulary suggestions are always welcome. Please submit words
which fit the CVC/CVCVC/CVCVCVC format from *any* natural language for
consideration. There is currently a list of words compiled which are
under consideration but have not yet been adopted. Submissions will
be added to this list and kept until they are either adopted into the
language or eliminated in favor of a more suitable word.

Some work is being done to translate the website into other languages
however I am not fluent in anything but English so lots of time is
often spent checking reference materials. If anyone is interested in
helping with translations, please let me know. Translation into any
language can be helpful, but certain languages are considered to be
the highest priority. The priority languages are: German, French,
Spanish, Arabic, Chinese (Simplified or Traditional), Japanese and
Esperanto. Languages which don't use the Roman script must be in
Unicode to be compatible with the database tables used.
