Description

A word that is often used to describe the effect CCD cameras have had on astrophotography is "revolutionary." SBIG helped start that revolution having made the first stand-alone autoguider followed by the first in a family of patented self-guiding CCD cameras used by amateur and professional astronomers throughout the world.

This group is for users of SBIG equipment or anyone who would like to learn more about CCD imaging with SBIG cameras. The purpose of the SBIG User Group is to discuss astronomical imaging with SBIG CCD cameras and accessories. For more information on posting guidelines, please see the file SBIGPLY.TXT in the _admin folder of the files section. Although the group is moderated by one of the founding directors of SBIG, most of the support one receives on this list is from other list members. For tech support from SBIG one should contact SBIG directly (see below).  Please enjoy the SBIG User's Group, feel free to ask questions when you need to and answer them when you can!
