Welcome to the SCAS Yahoo! Group. This list is a communication tool for the Sonoma County Astronomical Society and is restricted to members of SCAS. To join, click the "Join this Group" link to the right of this page (if you don't have a Yahoo ID already, click "Register" first). Send a note introducing yourself to r.leyland@verizon.net (we don't know people by their email adresses or handle, so we need your name to be able to approve membership). Approval through email communication may take a couple of days.

Once you are approved you can visit the site and the menu items on the left of this page will be available to you.

Please take a minute to update your member profile to include your real name and home town, plus any other info as you would like to share- it is only available to members. To edit the profile, click on 'Members" on the menu to the left of this page. Click on your Yahoo ID, then click on 'Edit Profile' under your ID. This will put a name to messages indead of an address, making conversation more personal.

You can have messages sent to your email, get an email digest (the day's traffic in one email), or just view messages when you come to the web view. All of your settings can be modified later if you change your mind.

**Please note that email attachments are not accepted- if you have files to send, please upload them to the Files or photo area and refer to them in your email (if you are subscribed strictly through e-mail, send the file to one of us and we can post it and return the URL.)
