Job Posting:
School Psychologist position open for the 1999-2000 school year.
Daviess County Public Schools is a progressive district in
Western Kentucky, located on the Ohio River.
The district student population is approx. 10,000 students
served in 12 elementary schools, 3 middle schools, and 2 high schools.
School psychologists work out of Central Office and serve
about 4 primary schools. Open position would be one on a team of 5
psychologists.
Primary responsiblities include consultation and support to
schools with pre-referral interventions and behavior plans,
psycho-educational assessments, consulting with school staff and
parents,
and direct individual and group services as needed.
The position is 195 to 205 days (based on 185 teacher
calendar) and additional salary increment is provided.
Applicant must be eligible for certication in the state of
KY.
Relocation expenses negotiable.
