We are currently looking for SCM Engineer to be based in BANGALORE for one of our clients, a leading Software Company.

PRIMARY SKILLS
Good Work Experience in ANT, NANT and Make
Exposure to Unix Shell scripting (ksh, sh, csh), Perl
Have Experience in HP-UX, Linux, Solaris
Must have experience in any one of the version control tool - RCS, CVS, PVCS, Clearcase, SCCS (At least 1 year ClearCase)
Strong on Source Control Concepts and practices
Worked extensively on Build automation

SECONDARY SKILLS
Have experience in Cruise control or any Build automation tool
Experience in Websphere
Knowledge in PDLC is an advantage

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
3-5 years Unix/Linux Experience, with Shell/Perl scripting knowledge.
3-5 years Version Control experience (RCS, CVS, PVCS)
1-2 years ClearCase experience.
Build, configuration Management, Installations & Release Mgt
Works with Engineering team and client team and responsible for builds and deployments of applications
Works with engineering to automate the build process
Interfaces with client SCM team for all SCM related activities.
Improves the efficiency of the existing SCM process
Work extensively on Windows, Linux and Unix platforms
