Role: Release Engineer

Brief Description:
Postini's Engineering group is looking for a talented and experienced Release Engineer to be responsible for Source Code Control System.

Key responsibilities include:

Responsible for efficient code merges and resolving code merge issues.
Package the Source Code for handoff to testing and release.
Deploy the packaged code in test environments for QA testing.
Develop and maintain tools for release engineering.
Plan multiple projects at a time.

Required skills:

BS or equivalent experience in Computer Science or other technical field.
4+ years in software release engineering.
Perl, C/C++ and scripting languages.
Working experience with Linux / Unix cluster type environment for service based products.
Experience with database queries.
Oracle experience highly desired.
CVS experience required.
Experience with build management tools.

Compensation:
Postini's compensation package consists of salary, equity and attractive benefits. Principals only. No relocation.
