I have considered getting either a Nikon D200 or D70s as my first
digital SRL. Of course, the D70s is much more affordable. The D70s
viewfinder is often critcized as being darker than the D200. Does
using the new focusing screen make the finder brighter? Since you
focus manually, does this mean you can use manual focus lenses with
the D70s (I understand you can't meter with AI lenses)? I would
appreciate more comments from you on how you use the D70 ... do you
indeed use manual focus lenses with success? Even without metering do
you find it practical to use MF lenses?
