I would like to direct you to a new certification program under
development by the Scrum Alliance - Certified Scrum Coach (CSC)
Program. I have been part of a cross-discipline team working for the
past few months to develop a new education and skills-based
certification program designed to distinguish individuals who have
aided organizations in successfully applying Scrum. This program is
designed to complement the current Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) and
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) education-based programs, the
Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP) direct experience-based program
and the Certified Scrum Trainer (CST) Program.
If you are a member of the Scrum Alliance, you can view the article
and download the document outlining the draft proposal for the
program. Log in at Scrum Alliance website, navigate to
http://scrumalliance.org/articles/51
The CSC program team is accepting feedback for 30 days - until July
15, 2007. If you would like to contribute to the conversation, please
read the proposal and provide your feedback in a Scrum Alliance
public form on the article posted or through an email to csc-
feedback@.... I would ask that you not discuss the
proposal on the ScrumDevelopment Yahoo! Group forum. This group
exists to guide ScrumMasters in the practice of Scrum, not to discuss
Scrum program effectiveness or changes.
Thanks,
Pete & The CSC Program Team
