Things are too quiet round here. Let's talk about the group!
We got started with a great meeting under our belts. What do you
think about the Greater Phoenix Scrum User Group? What did you expect
for the first meeting? Did it fall short or exceed your expectations?
There are several, no, many places on the Internet to interact
"virtually" with other Scrum practitioners. I personally find the
scrumdevelopment Yahoo! group an amazingly valuable resource of
information. There are many others from email lists to web sites to
videos and blogs.
And, as a Scrum and agile learner I have found that "real life"
interaction is by far the best way to learn and communicate. Can you
imagine meeting in person with the people on the scrumdevelopment
email list once or twice a month? What a thrill it would be to shake
hands with great people and discuss agile with them! Imagine the
discussions and learning that could take place!
The Phoenix valley has amazing people. Right here around us. People
that we could learn from and lean on. People like you that I want to
help and be helped by in turn. PhxSUG can be one of the premier
"places" to go for the best interaction we can imagine. We have to
create it, if we want it!
What value do wish to get from a local, real life, Scrum mentoring
group? What should we do to make PhxSUG a community?
