The SD Future Salon talks about the future of science, technology, art, and entrepreneurship, including trends, books, inventions, and everything related to new ideas that influence the future, in the tradition of the long-running and justly famous salons of Los Angeles and the Bay Area. We are also affiliated with the
Acceleration Studies Foundation.
Come share ideas with fellow scientists, inventors, investors, students, artists, entrepreneurs, and others interested in the dramatic changes that the future will bring.
Update May 11, 2010: We have new a co-moderator for the group and we are planning on bringing back the monthly meetings to discuss interesting topics and get feedback for our conferences. Our first meeting for 2010 will be at the TEDxDelMar event at tedxdelmar.com so please contact us for an invite before June 2nd, 2010.
We would also like to plan some meetings this summer again so please send us your suggestions. For our meetings you don't have to read or review anything beforehand, just show up. If you have a story or topic of interest, a web printout, article, book, investment tip, friend, idea, or information to share, bring it along and share it with the group.
