Subject: [sdfuturists] Friday April 7th: The Theory of Fun by Raph Koster

The San Diego Future Salon presents a talk by Raph Koster, who
will share with us his theory of fun and speculations on the
future of gaming.

Raph Koster is a lvl60 MMORPG designer and the former Chief
Creative Officer at Sony Online Entertainment. He was the lead
designer for Ultima Online and its first expansion The Second
Age and the creative director for Star Wars Galaxies. He also
authored the book A Theory of Fun for Game Design published in
November 2004. Previous to this, he helped create and write a
