Re: NUM_VALID_URLS UNKNOWN "0" errors

Dear Evangoer,
Thanks for reply and very important information that contained.

One of the presentaion address:
http://gallery.search.yahoo.com/application?smid=JSX
Which got into the Yahoo! Search Gallery under "Other", and I have not found
this application in Yahoo! search result, as the below post from you says "If
your application is high quality and makes it into the Gallery, we can then
consider it for default on."

I was wondering if such application could appear in the Yahoo! search results?
and if not what is the issue then we could work to improve!

Here is another question arises and that is:
If an application start appearing in Yahoo! search result, would that override
the existed search result for the same URL? Or it would be totally independent
result, lets call it "if this would be an extra search result for that URL"!?

I need to thank search monkey team in advance for making this future availabel
for us, and I think you all Rock and you all need to keep up! Also I need to
thank from active members like nz-government for posting very helpful
information in this group.

As I see those new categories that search monkey have listed, but here is the
question: I did try two of them and failed, it looks like there should be a
header and some more line to be added in the file, but I really can't find any
details about it (What would be added to those example in the beggining and end
of those files) I mean the DataRss examples; if you would be able to show us a
completed datarss file as example using one of those at categories, that should
be very helpful for me or any other member who reads it.

Thanks, again Thanks.

matches the expected structure for one of those categories, then congratuations!
Your results should get a enhanced display automatically, for all Y! search
users. (Note: Video, Documents, and Games are in production. The other five
categories are under bucket test and will be launching soon -- we're still
tweaking the designs.)

the standard presentations, then you can create a custom SearchMonkey
application using the SearchMonkey developer tool,
http://developer.search.yahoo.com/wizard/index. If your application is high
quality and makes it into the Gallery, we can then consider it for default on.

caused by this error and we could ask and follow it here to find out what is the
fix.

people have been reporting. It turns out the error is bogus. Your feeds actually
*are* getting indexed -- however, the Site Explorer GUI is incorrectly reporting
that the indexing is failing. The "Documents Processed: 0" field is also
inaccurate.

these messages for now. It is possible to get *real* errors -- for example, if
you submit a malformed feed, you might see something like:

still open for business. Thanks for your patience!
