Description

The intent of SF FOWL is to share information and
resources for fowl stewards (individuals and families
that keep fowl for non-commercial purposes) in San Francisco.

Sharing information on such things as:
- coop design
- feed sources
- egg recipes, fowl meat recipes, etc.
- disease prevention
- dealing with neighbors, pets, etc.
- latest from Dept. of Public Health and advocating
for proactive legislation allowing for easier
adherence to the ordinances (the current ordinance is
not entiurely clear and seems outdated and oriented
towards commercial keepers, etc.)
- social sharing of fowl stories

Sharing resources:
- egg exchnage
- incubators
- and more...

Building chicken houses as a service project?
Something I've been thinking of for some time - helping folks get set up with chickens, especially families where money is tight - anyone interested in working
