Having problems with message search?
Mine make the same noise when it starts to slew in dec, others are silent.

Hey guys, got my Orion 11 SCT with the Atlas GoTo yesterday. Assembled it and played with it a little. Aside from not getting any manual/literature for the OTA, or the Starry Night software that was supposed to come with it, I have one possible concern: When slewing at 7-9 the gears make a rattling/grinding sound just for a second or so before going to a nice whirring sound. Is that the usual case or do I need to worry? Thanks, John
