I want to know peoples experiences...
Past few years, there are more and more personal growth and spiritual events and
conferences popping up all over the country.
My friend asked me... why not just stay home and do a conference call, listen to
the internet radio shows or take an online course?
I've had both experiences and certainly know that it's easier to stay in my
comfortable pajamas and just cuddle up next to my computer and listen to one of
the great teachers present an online course.
But am I sacrificing a real life experience for convenience?
I will let the people speak for themselves and then share my thoughts at the
end. So I asked friends on facebook to respond and this is what I got...
Let's start with me...I went to the Celebrate Your Life conference that is
organized by Mishka Productions. This family of women pull together a four
day conference with some very high profile authors. I don't know how they do
it, but they manage to create an atmosphere where even in a room filled with
over 1,000 attendees, you feel like a member of their family.
BOTTOM LINE: I LOVED IT AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!
At the conference, some of the speakers included: Dr. Wayne Dyer, Neale Donald
Walsch, James Van Praagh, Cheryl Richardson, Dr. Brian Weiss, and the list goes
on.
So my friend Mary had this to say, " Group settings are much more powerful! The
impact of live events are meeting all the authors in person and the joyous
feeling that is created in being with so many like minded people!"
My friend Joe says, "I like lectures on my iPod."
Harmony said this, "GO! Last Celebrate Your Life I attended I met a couple that
flew in from Russia. I thought that was incredible! Celebrate Your Life has a
strong impact on so many people's lives including me. Stay at home? I don't
think so!"
So group...what's your experience???
The next Celebrate Your Life conference will take place in Chicago on the
weekend of June 5 -7. 2009.
I'm there!
Some of the featured speakers include: Dr. Christiane Northrup, Caroline Myss,
James Van Praagh, Cheryl Richardson, Michael Bernard Beckwith, Sonia Choquett
and many more. The early registration fee offers a substantial discount from
the regular pricing.
If you want to go just Google and find the info.
