this thing is supposed to send the settings to make you able to get
mail and internet - I havent tried it yet but will report back when i
do...

I found this blurb in the help section of tmo site. Under Browse
Knoweldge base,and then undr Services/Device setup tools.

T-MobileWeb: The T-Mobile Wireless Configurator can send the T-
MobileWeb configuration settings to a T-MobileWeb compatible phone.
If you are having trouble accessing T-MobileWeb, the T-Mobile
Wireless Configurator can send the correct settings to your phone,
which should resolve the issue. To learn more about T-MobileWeb, go
to Web & Applications.
Picture messaging: The T-Mobile Wireless Configurator can send the
picture messaging configuration settings to a picture messaging
compatible phone. If you are having trouble sending picture messages,
the T-Mobile Wireless Configurator can send the correct settings to
your phone, which should resolve the issue. To learn more about
picture messaging, go to Messaging.
T-Mobile Internet: The T-Mobile Wireless Configurator can send the T-
Mobile Internet configuration settings to a T-Mobile Internet
compatible phone. Once the configuration is complete, your computer
