I need a quick answer to this problem, if possible.

I'm in the middle of laying out a long guitar part, but I'm stopped
dead. I discovered that in copying and pasting I had forgotten to
enter measure ditto marks in the score (ditto marks do NOT copy,
although I have no idea why not!), so they showed up in the part as
multi-measure rests.

I went back to the score and changed those bars by entering ditto
marks. So far, so good. But the change doesn't show up in the part!
Not even when I close the part and reopen it. I still have those
damn multimeasure rests. And I can't find anything in the Sib5 Help
Index to tell me what to do or where to look. (Nothing under
"Changes," for instance, or "Applying Changes"; it's probably under
some other word that doesn't occur to me.)

I'm sure I'm missing something simple, but this is the first time Sib
has refused to accept changes in the linked parts for me.

... OK, I tried one more thing, and it worked! I closed the entire
file, score and parts both, and when I reopened it the changes showed
up in the part. Yeaaaah!! But now I have a different question: WHY
did the changes in the score not show up immediately in the linked
part?

Daniel?
