Download a-squared, install it and use it to scan your computer,
(http://majorgeeks.com/download172.html).
If that fails to resolve this issue, then download the diagnostic tools offered
by your hard drive's manufacturer and use it to check the drive, perhaps it has
some bad clusters and that is what may be causing this.
