SimPoint is independent of the binary ISA. It utilizes the execution
basic-block vector profile to determine the simulation points. To
produce the profile you may need to modify the profiler/simulator you
are running based on the binary ISA. I believe PISA binaries are
supported in SimpleScalar and you should be able to use the sim-fast
bbvector generator we release on this site.
