Simpy is broken. Unless you enter a nickname bookmarks always show up
as "Untitled."
1. Visit a web page in your browser, say this one:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/8111887.stm
although this seems to work for many pages.
2. Click your Simpy This! (popup) javascript bookmarklet. (Although I
don't think this bug is limited to only when using the bookmarklet.)
3. In the popup it says "You are adding a bookmark for BBC NEWS |
Politics | Voting under way for new Speaker" and that is indeed the
title of the page you're bookmarking. You also have the field Nickname
described as "Optional display name (default is the page title)."
Happy with the page title, leave Nickname empty and click Add.
4. You are informed: Bookmark Added, Title: Untitled, URL:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/8111887.stm, and indeed the
bookmark shows up in your list as "Untitled."
