Hi all...
Its a fair bet that most members here have come across the Currah
Microspeech at some point, there wasnt many of us who didnt have one.
But can anyone recall the Currah Microsource ?
It was a small cartridge which plugged into the expansion slot and
allowed you to write z-80 assembler directly into basic programs, a
bit like you could do with the BBC Micro. It also had a Forth
interpreter and a debugger.
It was all on rom, no software to load.
When Currah went down I think D'ktronics were supposed to be
releasing it but it never happened. There are a few (very few !)
kicking about but think they are 'escaped prototypes' or
test/evaluation units.
great product, Anyone used one ?
Cheers
Shaun
