Hi! Saraiki World,

Here is one suggestion for Saraiki computing community about Saraiki keyboard. The alphabets "غ" and "ق" are 'qareeb-ul-makhraj' alphabets. So it makes more sense to be typed "غ" when shift+Q is presseed and "ڳ" to be typed when shift+G is pressed.

I think with the passage of time at least Microsoft system fonts will support Siraiki and other new Arabic script characters of Unicode 5.1 and above, but as Nizamani sahab said, there is no way to force font developers to support the complete block.

I am a big fan of fonts for complete Arabic script, but people in big corporations and institutes do not understand that once you create a font for a specific Arabic script language, then by just adding 20% more effort you can support all other characters.

I'll try to contact Siraiki publshers that you've mentioned for letting me know of any errors.

Thanks for your email, although it adds nothing to my information. Yes some fonts should have attraction to be adopted for some language but I wished that all Arabic-script fonts should display Saraiki characters too anyhow.

Could you please tell me any font which display all Arabic characters except to specific Urdu characters like "peyÙ¾Û”", "TeyÙ¹Û”", "cheyÚ†Û”", "DaalÚˆÛ”", "ReyÚ‘Û”" and "gaafÚ¯Û”"?

"We can create a list of all the fonts which support Seraiki at the moment."

That list should be made under following three headings:
(a) Fonts supporting Arabic-Script Characters [font name]
(b) Could display full range of Urdu characters [yes/no]
(c) Could display full range of Saraiki Characters [yes/no]

Many a  fonts, which display other Arabic-script characters very well, do not display the typical five characters of Saraiki. Would that all the fonts which support other Arabic-Script characters do also support the Saraiki special characters too. I request Saraiki Computing Community to proceed in this direction.
