While we encourage cloud watching from any location, there has been nothing
published
about cloud watching from aircraft altitude since around 1971. That's changing.
I have an article scheduled for publication in WEATHERWISE Magazine for May-June
2008.
It's a little late for Sky Awareness Week 2008, but it will give you new
insights to the clouds
above. The article is filled with awesome images.
WEATHERWISE is available at some Barnes & Noble stores and also by subscription
(and
possibly individual copies) from heldref.org.
Sunny Days and have a great SAW.

The favorite cloud poll has been updated. Please come and visit the
new poll through our main web page.
We are also updating our whole web site. Our first step has been to
create a new main page with a significantly updated cloud slide show.
You can see the new page at http://www.weatherworks.com/HTWW/
We would welcome any feedback you have about our new look.

There was a problem with the cloud poll at the How the
weatherworks web site -
http://www.weatherworks.com/cool_clouds.html.
That has now been fixed. You can now vote for your favorite
cloud.

After a long hiibernation, Sky Awareness Week is being
resurrected. We may not get a lot done for 2003, but we are
already slated for Chase's Calendar of Events for 2004.
Please take a moment and visit our main web site at
http://www.weatherworks.com and check out the "sky
awareness" link. There is information there about sky watching,
nephelococcygia and more.
Have a great time cloud and sky watching and look back here for
more information shortly.
Sunnny Days....Mike and Barbara
This is just a brief note to alert members that we are moving ahead on
software development for the 2001-2002 school year. This will allow
for easy web data uploading and sharing.
More details to follow shortly.
Thanks for your interest in this project.

Hi!
Just wanted to give subscribers a "heads up" about plans for SAW 2001.
We are working hard to get our page completed by September 2000.
This page will then provide needed information, web posting
resources, and more.
Will advise with additional details as we approach the unveiling date.
