This group is a complement to the "skychart" group to allow discussion between user of the Cartes du Ciel / Sky Charts software.
All subject in relation with the usage of this software is welcome.
The preferred language is English.

Many question are already solved here! Please check the message archives before asking.

When asking questions, please specify which version you're using. The new v.3 beta has many changes from v2.7x.

Do we agree then that CdC/ EQMOD can't GOTO an arbitrary RA/Dec position????? ... -- "Very funny Scotty... now beam down our clothes!"

Indeed. rightclick->telescope->slew is the same as pressing the slew button on the toolbar. It goes to the current target, not the location of the right click

Rod, Just tried your suggestion. I can get the FOV indicator to centre on the required RA and Dec ( 6hr , 60 dec N) I then click on the telescope slew command
