Hello,

The new version 2.51 of Cartes du Ciel / Sky Charts is available.

This include the following change from the previous version :

- New Czech translation.
- Possibility to limit the magnitude of labeled object.
- Copy the calendar to the clipboard to allow import to a spreadsheet.
- Change in the Vizier data format.
- Add STSCI GSC 1.1 and GSC 1.2 to the online resources.
- Minor bugs corrected :
- Setting the altitude of the observatory
- Correct tabulation order in the "Locate new position" window.
- Disk path problem using Realsky CD's
- Draw smaller circle for the Sun and Moon magnitude.

A new patch format allow for a very small update file (270 Kb) if you
already run the version 2.5. The drawback is it require a specific base
file version to run successfully as it carry only the modification to the
files, then it cannot be used to repair an installation, always use the
base version for this usage.

A new download page is also available with additional external catalog.
Actually 15 catalogs are available including a new compilation of the RCW
H-{alpha} emission regions in Southern Milky Way edited by Raymond Bruton
that greatly improve the coverage for bright nebulae in the Southern region.

La nouvelle version 2.51 de Cartes du Ciel est disponible.

Les modifications suivantes ont ete apportee depuis la version precedente :

- Nouvelle traduction en Tchèque.
- Limite de magnitude pour l'affichage des labels de tous les objets.
- Copie du calendrier dans le presse-papier pour importation dans un tableur.
- Changement du format des données de Vizier.
- Ajout aux resources Internet de STSCI GSC 1.1 et GSC 1.2
- Correction de divers petit bug.
- altitude de l'observatoire.
- ordre des tabulations dans la fenetre de saisie des coordonnees.
- probleme de chemin avec les images Realsky.
- dessin du soleil et de la lune en magnitude plus petit.

Un nouveau format de patch permet au fichier de mise a jours d'etre tres
petit (270 Kb). Vous pouvez l'utiliser si la version 2.5 est deja
installee. L'inconvenient est qu'il demande une version de base specifique
des fichiers car seul les mise a jours a l'interieur des fichiers sont
inclues. Il n'est donc pas possible de reparer une installation avec ce
fichier, il faut toujours utiliser la version de base pour cela.

Une nouvelle page de telechargement avec des catalogues externes
additionnels est disponible. Actuellement 15 catalogues sont disponibles.
Une nouvelle compilation du RCW H-{alpha} emission regions in Southern
Milky Way redigee par Raymond Bruton permet une meilleur representation des
nebuleuses brillantes de l'hemisphere sud.
