Hello,
After a prolongated summer pause I finally terminate to program the
different function I want to add to this version.
I hope this is the last beta version before the availability of the final
2.7 version.
The documentation is still not available, this is the main work I have to
do now.

-New functions :
Generate new catalog by yourself with the new CATGEN tool.
Add GSC-II catalog to the online resource.
New star representation using bitmap image.
Sky color depending of the daylight, twilight and Moon.
Change the World Map by the one you want.
Move the zoom box before confirmation (left mouse button down).
Show the position angle between two objects (in addition to angular
distance).
Redesign the Search box.
Copy the chart to JPEG or GIF image, also new DDE command SJPG and SGIF.
Do not plot duplicate entries from GSC catalog (but still display
them if required).
Add a print job name.
Add planetary satellites diameter information.
Ability to use any catalog (except USNO-A) for any chart scale up to
the full sky by switching off the memory cache (beware that performance
may suffer).
New version of series96.dll that include the data files, contributed
by Jeff Burton.
-Problem correction :
Correct planetary magnitude to be consistent with the Astronomical
Almanac.
Help do not display on external browser.
Black area when printing to some printer.
Missing translation.

That's all for the moment ! All the other modification will wait for this
version be stabilized, I think that more than eight month of beta version
is too much.

Bonjour,
Apres une pose estivale un peu prolongee j'ai finalement termine de
programmer les fonctions que je voulais ajouter a cette version.
J'espere que cette version beta est la derniere avant la version 2.7 finale.
Il me reste encore a faire la documentation qui n'est donc pas encore
disponible.

-Nouvelles fonctions :
Creation de catalogues avec le nouvel outils CATGEN.
Ajout du catalogue GSC-II aux resources en lignes.
Nouvelle representation des etoiles
Couleur du ciel en fonction du crepuscule et de la Lune.
Deplacement de la fenetre de zoom (en laissant le bouton droit de
la souris enfonce).
Affiche l'angle de position entre deux objets.
La boite de recherche est simplifiee.
Copie la carte dans une image au format JPEG ou GIF.
Suppression de l'affichage a double de certaines etoiles du GSC.
Ajout d'un nom au travail d'impression.
Ajout d'information sur le diametre des satellites des planetes.
Possibilite d'utiliser tous les catalogues (a l'exception de
l'USNO-A) pour toute echelle des cartes en desactivant le cache en memoire
(attention toutefois aux performances).
Nouvelle version de series96.dll avec les tables de donnees
incluse, contribution de Jeff Burton.
-Problemes corriges :
Modification des magnitudes des planetes pour etre conforme au
valeurs de l'Astronomical Almanac.
L'aide ne s'affiche pas dans un browser externe.
Zone noir lors de l'impression.
Oubli de certaines traductions.

C'est tout pour le moment ! Les autres modifications attendrons que cette
version soit stabilisee. Je pense que huit mois pour une version beta c'est
deja beaucoup trop.
