The Sound Language Evidence Group is a consortium of forensic linguists, phoneticians and audio/video specialists. We have set up this discussion group to provide a forum for people with professional and academic interests in these inter-related fields of forensic science to share ideas. Topics for discussion can include anything to do with the use of language or recordings for forensic evidence, such as speaker identification, disputed utterances, authorship attribution, research, forensic interpreting, conferences, tape enhancement and so on.
We are hoping to build up a database of cases and precedents in different jurisdictions. If you would like to join this discussion group please give a few details about yourself.
