Pickett Model 4 Cursor Rail Tension Spring Needed   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #1339 of 1386 |
Happy Holidays Group,

I'm looking for a Cursor Tension Rail spring for an older Pickett model 4, it's
the 8-screw
configuration for the aluminum rule. The tension spring still rides in the top
groove, but it's
not the permanently fitted spring like on the magnesium models. I manufactured
a make-
shift one out of a small paperclip; it works fine, but you can see it a mile
away. If you can
help me, I have other Slide Rule parts that I can trade for (Pickett, Hemmi,
K&E, to name a
few) - or I'll buy the part outright.

Regards,
Bob
