I recently made a bizarre ebay purchase from a seller who didn't
realize what he had. He did offer to take it back, but I figure I'll
get some use out of it/them. To wit, I bought, or found out that I
bought
1. An N4-ES without the cursor (he mentioned that)
2. An 800-T, marked as such on the slide, which is CLEARLY an ES, as
yellow as can be. Not only that, it appears to be missing the LL0x
scales, the inverted scales, and basically everything that would be
in red ink. I would say it is on the wrong stock but it is clearly
brand new and the red ink is missing off the stator too, where
the '800-T' is. Are slide rules like stamps, where misprints are
really valuable?
3. An N 531-ES slide on a 902 stock.
4. An N 500-ES slide on a 903 stock.
I would like to know if anyone is interested in parts from #3 and #4
in some sort of swap that gets me closer to having some sort of
cursor for #1. Also, any information about misprinted slide rules.
Thanks,
Jon
I recently bought and N600 on Ebay. It did not come with a case, and
the seller just put it in an envelope and mailed it. No bubble wrap or
anything. USPS mauled the package and broke the cursor. I am trying
to send the rule back but judging by the tone of the exchange so far I
might get stuck with it. If so, I am on the lookout for one side of a
small pickett cursor, with cursor line. it would be worth 10 bucks to
me, or possibly a swap for some other pickett parts...
Russian KL-1 slide rule 50 yr commemoration of 1917 Revolution - for auction on
eBay item number 310126884042. This very rare stopwatch slide rule is in
excellent condition and comes with an embossed leather case that. Even if you
already have a Kl-1, this unique item is a must have for a serious collector.
I have two Pickett N-4s, both with case, a Concise 600-CE with instructions and
case, and two Concise CTCS-552s with case and manual. Is anyone interested in
swapping something interesting for one or more of these? All are in good
condition.
Hello All,
I won a Pickett N300-T on an ebay auction a few days ago. The case and slide
rule are in great shape, except one of the screws for the top stator (top
adjusment screw) came with the screw head sheared off. I want to keep the slide
rule because it's in good condition despite the sheared adjusting screw. I
called Slide Rule Universe and they don't have one, only screws for the cursors.
Does anyone have an old N200, N300, N400, N600, etc. that can be used for parts?
I would be happy to pay for the shipping and the part(s). Thanks.
Amin
I`m selling a copy of this extremely rare and collectable book. Copies go for around £100 (see amazon) so I think my starting price is very fair. I am in the UK but happily ship worldwide , at very good rates.
I am selling two slide rules from my collection and also an emptyFaber Castell slide rule box , that may be useful (It has some scuffs and signs of wear) . The Arista 99 in is very good overall condition , with some minor signs of wear to the back but nothing that detracts from it's overall quality. I am also selling a J.Hemmi Sun slide rule that I belive is mahogny. This rule has some signs of ware , some of the wood is worn and discolored and the tables on the back are worn.
Hi everyone. I am selling my Aristo 99. It`s in really nice condition and has its box. I`m always happy to post abroad. Here's the link to it on ebay.co.uk -
Hi everyone. I`ve got a couple of interesting slide rules for sale on Ebay (based in the UK- I am happy to post abroad). They are an Aristo 0602 slide rule with case and instructions and a Concise No.28 with case.
Both are in lovely condition. If you're interested have a look at the links below.
Hi everyone. My friend is selling a couple of his slide rules , and since he's not a member of this groups, he's asked me to give you all a heads up on his behalf. He's selling them on ebay , based in the UK , although he's more than happy to ship worldwide and has 100% feedback on nearly two thousand transactions- so bid with confidence.
The first is a Keuffel & Esser N.4081. It's an very nice rule , in lovely condition and comes with it's case and manual. You don't get many of these about , so it's well worth a look. Here's the link:

Hey all!
I was curious if anyone was interested in trading a Pickett N-803ES for a 1010SL
Super Power Trig?
The 803 has a case and is in good condition (I can provide pics if interested).
I just got it from a friend who had it sitting in desk for years and just
remembered that I collect rules. I already have one (daily driver on my desk)
and I would really like to get a 1010SL Super Power Trig.
If there is any interest please feel free to email me at dangilstrap at gmail
dot com.
Hi;
Wanted to buy, Aristo Multi-trigs models 0929 and the pocket 826.
New old stock if possible will consider well used if nice. I need these rules
for a special project I'm working on. Thank you.

I need a copy of the manual for the Pickett 6-T Statistical Quality Control slide rule. It is for my personal collection to replace the manual destroyed by clumsiness and a devious cup of hot coffee. I will buy or trade for a copy. Thanks
Juergen Nestler asked me to assist him in selling what is left of the NOS
factory stock of Nestler slide rules (made 1972 or before), so I have put up a
web page to help him facilitate moving what little is left of his inventory.
He'll ship them to you directly from Germany.
Direct: http://www.sliderulemuseum.com/Nestler_Store.htm
Help him out if you can and get some nice slide rules, to boot!
