John, I have some questions on the 967U. It uses different scale labels. For example, why 'x sub-z' while others use only x? Is this to simplify descriptions

I have always found the term "Minty" to be a little flaky.  Either label the slide rule as in "mint condition" , "NOS" , "new condition" or "unused". John
