I'm not shouting, just posting directly as it appears
on the rule.
There are photos of the rule here

It's a 200K file so dial ups beware. If I made it
smaller you couldn't read the scales.
The slider,as you can see has "daylight" on oneside
and "artificial" on the other.
I have a Polyphase at my desk because, unlike
calculators, nobody bothers it. Use it at least once
a week. I'm not saying I'm great at it. Log log
Decitrig rules still make my head swim, but I can
usually figure it out.
Except this one. I get the idea I know what it can
tell me (depth of field, exposures with compensation
for time, filters and processing, etc.) if just knew
how to listen.
The construction is decent, not quite K&E standards,
but far from the stamped wood type you usually find in
a novelty rule. The base has warped a bit, despite
the maker's efforts to stop it, so the glass is
difficult to move, but still does, and then the wood
slider is sloppy.
Can anybody:
Acknowledge that I'm not the only one who owns/has
seen one of these?
Point me in the direction of who might have the #@?!!
instructions?
Tell me how to do at least ONE operation?
Give me a rough idea when this thing was popular?
(yeah I know it says 1946, but did it last or was this
a one time effort from AREL GW and was gone by late
'46?)
Give me any information on AREL G-W?
