hi folks,
i'm testing the egroup. i was receiving each message twice so i
unsubscribed and resubed after a while. i think it's in order to give a
short profile of myself here also as i have not done this. my name is
robert nance dee but i post just as robert. i'm retired about 7 years now
and have just finished building a house in a small town upstate n.y. i have
about sixteen acres in a farm community with hills and rolling fields, a
pond and a stream that runs well in the late winter early spring. i have
good wind being up about 1800 feet in the catskill mountains.... i ran a
prototyping and design firm and have several patents in the medical
instrument field. i have an extensive background in electronics also. i am
now equiped to make circuit boards from my designs. i have a small but well
equiped machine shop, a well equiped electronics bench and some wood
working equipment although i prefer hand tools for woodworking. i've always
been excited about alternative energy but until now was not able to focus
my energy in this area. my present projects include a wind/water generator,
wind turbine, power inverter and hopefully an ev. i'm happy to share my
experiments with the group and have enjoyed the learning experience since i
