> Yes indeed: 3850 Lumens versus 2000 Lumens for the Optoma HD800X LV
I was referring to the Optoma Ep1080 which is 3600 ansi lumens.
> But what about the contrast? The Dell is precised 2700:1 versus 5000:1 for the
Optoma.
> Is it significant? That's what refrain myself to buy it.
Hard to tell, these rating are imprecise.
> Because as I use a fisheye and not a mirrordome, the 1200 pixels are far
important.
Indeed.
> The Optoma HD800XLV (soon discontinued) is only 1000 euros but the Dell is 3.5
times more expensive...
> What OPTOMA are you talking about ?
The Optoma Ep1080 is about the same price as the Dell, at least here in
Australia.

Strange, the size should not be a problem as I've done 4K with no problem. But
then I use Macs so can't really comment on the MSWindows version of QT PRO. I'd
happily build the QT movies for you but perhaps it is too late for that now.

Sounds like a buggy OS to me :-) Sorry, I'm biased.

quicktime).
Not a good choice for the Mac.
> I made a Xvid Version in 1920x1920 working fine with my system but the user
said he couldn't play it back even with Quicktime Xvid codecs.
Again, for the Mac QT is the best with a standard codec.
