Subject: [small_planetarium] Software for warping videos

Dear Oscar

In order to ward dvd's or video to project with a mirror, at Navegar Foundation we have been working on two different solutions.
- One, a realtime solution, is called DomeView.
- The other is called Fulldome Plugin, and is a plugin to work with After Effects.

Please have a look at http://software.multimeios.pt/.

When you refer to DVD's or video, you are probably not refering to fulldome content, rather to standard videos.
With Domeview you can play this and other video formats (projections), control their location on the dome and even have simultaneous videos running at once.

On the other end, the Plugin let's you create a Video, a Master, that is already distorted to be projected with the mirror. In this case, you'll need to bring the content to After Effects and FullDome Plugin will distort the content according to the system configuration and size of the dome.

Best regards,
Antonio Pedrosa
(Navegar Foundation Team)
