Hi,
Your libraries from SuSE 8.0 would be glibc 2.0. The SmallX executibles are
compiled with the older libc 5.0.
BTW I don't call it TinyX anymore because XFree86 has an option to compile a
small footprint X server they call tinyX.
If I were you I would install the newest X server I could find. Say 4.2, because
the newer ones actually have smaller footprints.
