Hi there all of you...I am new to this grp.

I have redhat linux 9.0 kernel version 2.4.20.
I have the 2.4.22 and 2.6.0-test9 sources with me .I use a make
xconfig to config the kernel and then do a make modules.after that
when i ask it to do make bzImage it says that

" need rule entry.s to make entry.o for both the kernels".

Please advice me as to why this happens.I downloaded teh sources
from www.kernel.org. -what i can do to fix it???

I wud also like to know about any guides for USB driver programming
in Linux.and for pci devices also. All the very to all of you.

I wud also like to know as to how to enable the proc fs in the
kernel. My modules when i insert into the kernel give me the error:
unknown literal:create_proc_read_entry

thanks leo.
