Re: [soaringpilot] Re: Tungsten T Operation

Don,

I'm not sure what is happening with your T3 Don, but posting the problem to this mailing list is sure to get you some help ;)

Regards,

Frank

Hey Frank,
I recently re-loaded the 4.2 program back into my T3 and it STILL has no waypoints or SUA's.  Also, the polar list still doesn't have the grob 102 (cs-77), which has to be loaded by hand.  The waypoint list I have was in the 3.0 program and is for southern Ontario.  One other thing, for some unknown reason the T3 on Soarpilot quit talking to my gps (a magellan 315).  Thanks,
Don Kuehn

Roger,

Pardon me for jumping in here, but you really should upgrade to the latest rev - it is pretty stable, and *much* better in every way.  Also, speaking as a software developer myself, it is extremely difficult to troubleshoot issues with older non-supported revs, and half the time it turns out to be a bug that has long since been eradicated.  If you are still having the same issues after upgrading, then I'm sure Paul can figure it out.

Just my $0.02 ;-).

I'm still struggling with times, although it may be a Volkslogger issue.  I downloaded a flight recently and the time is one hour off.  The pda, which had been running correctly now shows GMT-4 rather than GMT-5.  It appears to have happened after connecting it to the Volkslogger.

More importantly, when I bring up the same flight in SeeYou using the Volkslogger generated igc file, it is several hours off.

I actually took off at 1 PM.

SoaringPilot shows a take-off at 2 PM. (From SoaringPilot directly or from the igc file.  SeeYou has an offset of -5 hrs)

The Volkslogger generated igc file shows a take-off at 10 PM.  (SeeYou has an offset of -5 hrs)

Anyone have any thoughts?

Thanks in advance,
Roger

Hi Roger,

1) Correct
2) Time zone setting on the units screen. You need to adjust it so it shows the hours difference from GMT
